Monge VetSolution Diabetic contains unique ingredients such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) - an enzyme that helps avoid oxidative stress, xylooligosaccharides (X.O.S) - natural prebiotics that support intestinal immunity, and is enriched with a functional Fit-Aroma coating, which in a tasty and healthy way allows you to control your cat's glycemia level.

 

Fit-Aroma in MONGE VETSOLUTION DIABETIC contains Psyllium husks, which contribute to delaying gastric emptying and modulating the absorption of intestinal ingredients. Postprandial hyperglycemia is less likely to occur in cats, but minimizing it may lead to a reduction in exogenous insulin requirements. Psyllium from Płesznik Plantain is an agent that helps cleanse the body. It is rich in fiber. Psyllium may have a beneficial effect on glycemic parameters in diabetes. The effect of psyllium on the glycemic level is to slow down the process of nutrient absorption by producing a characteristic gel. The reduction in indicators is not due to weight loss or reduced food intake. Psyllium husks are ground and added during the production process to optimize efficiency without affecting the product's palatability.

Protein: MONGE VETSOLUTION DIABETIC is composed of proteins rich in insulinogenic amino acids: arginine, leucine, phenylalanine and tyrosine. Increased taurine levels help prevent diabetes complications (neuropathy, retinopathy, kidney failure).

Carbohydrates: tapioca's relative high glycemic index is moderated by limited gelatinization and delayed absorption induced by psyllium mucilage

Minerals: Because diabetes is more common in older cats (73% more likely to occur in cats over 7 years of age) and susceptible to kidney failure, phosphorus is balanced at a relatively low level compared to a maintenance diet
